Preserving Tres Rios Ranch

Tres Rios is a nearly 300-acre ranch located in La Cienega, New Mexico. The ranch’s owner and a group of dedicated community stewards and preservationists are working to support the transition of this incredible area to a site which conserves the free flowing waters, natural habitat, riparian ecosystems and archaeological sites contained within; provides a space where sustainable agricultural practices will be used and demonstrated, and visitors can learn about the cultural and ecological significance of this remarkable landscape, which is directly connected to the Caja del Rio.
